Okeydokey, so I've been following this show since Day 1, and I thought it was high time to share my picks for this season with you guys. Honestly, I don't think there's a whole lot of talent this year (at least not compared to last year). My absolute favorite to ever hit the idol stage in my lifetime was definitely Siobhan Magnus from just last season. This year, I'm thinking that most of the contestants sound like any other coffeehouse singer in America. Nevertheless, a couple contestants do have unique voices this year. My personal favorite is Lauren Alaina. I'll admit, James Durbin has a lot of talent too, but his image definitely needs a little work. Then again, there's Scotty McCreery, who has a unique deep voice, but he forgot the words to a song in a previous stage, which makes him slightly less favorable in my opinion.
